WHO WE ARE, WHAT WE DO, & WHY WE DO IT
The Canadian Foundation for Animal-Assisted Support Services (CF4AASS) is an impartial, nationally registered charity that promotes the credibility and significance of Animal-Assisted Human Services (AAHS) to enhance public safety, the well-being of Canadians, and the welfare of Human Services Assistance Animals (HSAA).
The charity’s programs and support services include, but are not limited to, stakeholder collaboration, hosting special events, advocacy, outreach and education, research, and the co-development of voluntary national standards that outline essential service delivery requirements (operational benchmarks and metrics) to advance AAHS across Canada, to foster One Health for People, Pets, and Partners™.
